Case Study – Landlord Property Maintenance Glasgow

This is a case study, focusing on our Glasgow property maintenance for landlords for one of our long-time clients. One of our clients owns tenement properties in the south side of Glasgow. He subscribes to our monthly landlord package. This means when he is not around, our handymen can get any necessary repair work completed. Saving him time and stress!

These are some of the Glasgow property repairs that we carried out during February 2019.

Garden maintenance Glasgow

Garden Waste Removal Glasgow

Every two weeks, our Glasgow handyman experts inspect the communal garden areas. Removing any refuse which has not been removed by Glasgow council. All of the waste we collect is taken to the nearest Glasgow Recycling Center to ensure that we are being as environmentally friendly as we can.

This month, someone had left a couch outside the tenement building. While this usually isn’t complementary, our handymen had enough space to take care of it for free.

Grass Cutting Glasgow

During this inspection, our Glasgow experts take care of any grass cutting, strimming and spraying of environmentally friendly weed killer. Our handymen can usually have this complete within a few hours, depending on the size of the garden and communal grass areas. So, our client’s tenants were undisturbed.

Property Maintenance Glasgow

Smoke detectors, fire alarms, carbon monoxide alarms were all checked, and the batteries replaced. Again we make sure to recycle and dispose of batteries in a safe, environmentally friendly manner! Our handymen are qualified to complete any gas safety checks, and this is something we do regularly for these properties.

Our experts can repair and maintain any wear and tear around the apartments. This month some of our work included, fixing shower extractor fans for one property, cleaning windows for the full Glasgow tenement building and repainting walls once a tenant had moved out.

Our Glasgow handyman also replaced water damaged flooring which was found in a flat where a tenant had left. The unwanted furniture was removed, as well as the flat being cleaned from top to bottom, so a new tenant could move in later that week!
